Yahoo Corp., postponed its annual meeting after billionaire investor Carl Icahn started a campaign to unseat the board.

This is probably a way for yahoo to have some more talk with Microsoft and deal with Icahn, but a strong indicator that Yahoo's CEO Jerry Yang is a bit under pressure.

This is my solution:
Yahoo should sell search and contextual advertising platform "panama", including the Yahoo Publisher Network to Microsoft.

On the second istance Yahoo search will be "powered by google" with google ads all over the place.

On its side, Microsoft will create a brand new "Aero" Interface for panama and YPN with absolutely no improvements will be finally out of beta and available worldwide as "leading program to monetize your website" for all the "desperados" banned from Adsense.

What will change for the average user?  Nothing.

My co-webmaster asked me what will happen with the traffic coming from yahoo and live.
As easy as 123:
If you were ranking good on Live, and bad on Yahoo, you will rank BAD.
If you were ranking bad on Live but good on Yahoo, you will rank BAD anyway.
If you were ranking good on both Yahoo and Live there is a good chance you will be de-indexed.
If you were ranking BAD on both, you have nothing to worry because nothing gonna change...
